One Career Map That Grows with You
The five stages you know from Mobile LEAP, kept in one place through BootCamp and the Advanced Track: who you are, what you have made, the tracks you tried, your direction and plan, and the next fortnight's three commitments. Then your CV, tightened on the AI of your choice without a word invented, and the work you are looking for, mapped.
Career Map
The six stops: who you are, what you have made, the tracks you tried, your direction and plan, the next fortnight, and every three months, where you are now. It grows from Mobile LEAP through BootCamp and beyond, and downloads as Word.
Your draft, tightenedYour CV
You draft it. The hub writes the exact prompt and the formatting rules; you run them in the free AI of your choice and bring the answer back. Your facts stay, nothing is added, every change is listed. Then a game plan, LinkedIn text, and versions aimed at particular jobs.
Leads, your name online, outreachFinding Work
Ten real leads across local, national and online, your name as a search shows it, the two-line introduction request, and the outreach log. Most hiring here moves through people, not portals.
The Six Stops
- Who I Am. Traits, strengths, watch-outs.
- My Evidence. What you have made or earned.
- Explore. Tracks and modules you tried.
- Direction and Plan. Next steps, costs, a backup.
- Fortnight Plan. Three commitments, dated.
- Where I Am Now. Your three-monthly check-in.
How It Works
- Sign in with Google from the header, with the address you use on the hub. The level you set on My Darasa is where the map starts.
- Fill the map as the programme goes: a stage per sitting in Mobile LEAP, a revision at each BootCamp block, and in your own time after that.
- Paste your CV draft, answer the questions in your own words, and say where and how you want to work.
- Save the two files the hub makes and give them to Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude or Grok. Bring the whole answer back, and your tightened CV, the list of changes and your game plan appear.
- Map ten real leads, check what a search of your name shows, draft the two-line introduction request, and log what you sent.
- Every three months, say where you are now. The map stays true, and Learning Lions sees what its alumni are up to.
The Honesty Rule
- You draft the CV. The AI tightens wording, keeps every fact exactly as it is, adds nothing, and lists every change so you can check each one.
- Things your answers mention and the CV leaves out come back as suggestions to add by hand, in your own words.
- An invented CV line collapses under one follow-up question in an interview, and local employers talk to each other.
Your Own AI, Not The Hub's
The hub runs no AI and sends nothing to one. The prompt and your material go into files you download; you choose the AI, you paste the answer back. Gemini comes with every Learning Lions Google account; ChatGPT, Claude and Grok work too.
Privacy
- What it keeps. Your Career Map (the traits self-check, your evidence list, your track entries, your plan, your fortnight commitments), your Finding Work pages (your opportunity map, your digital-name audit, your introduction request, your outreach log), your three-monthly check-ins, the CV text you paste, your answers to the questionnaire, your job preferences, and what your own AI sent back (the tightened CV, the game plan). All of it under the Google address you sign in with.
- Who sees it. You, and Learning Lions staff who look after the hub. Your check-ins can be used by Learning Lions in its reports without your name only when you tick the box on the check-in. The outreach log is yours alone: no staff page shows it. Nothing is sold or shared with employers.
- What leaves the hub. Nothing goes to any AI from here. The files you download and give to your own AI go where you take them, under that service's own terms.
- Deleting it. Every stop can be edited or removed, and the bottom of Where I Am Now deletes everything the Career Map keeps about you. Your hub sign-in and your hand-ins stay.
