Idea to First Sale

Level 2 · BootCampBE Business and EntrepreneurshipTaught week 3 Friday after lunch

Start the Lesson

By the end you can say why a small business the people around you need is a door as real as a job in Nairobi, and name the other door, platform or VA work; take an honest inventory of what you bring, with evidence or "not yet" on every line; tell a need from a wish by its four signs and run a needs walk with consent, a role not a name, what they said and what you saw kept apart; turn the walk into a customer map, a point of view and "How might we" questions, sort ideas on two grids and choose one your inventory supports; check it against the rules of trading here, every rule sourced or marked unverified, AI never the source; cost one sale, price it from cost plus margin, take cash or M-Pesa to your own number and write the receipt; put it on one page; and make a first sale, real or rehearsed, logged with its receipt.

Start the lesson 68 moves in 12 parts. You need: your notebook and a pen · the sheets and the walk card, on the screen · your hourly floor from BE5, this morning · your M-Pesa line in your own name, from BE2 · a partner for the practice round and the mock sale where you can get one; the trainer on duty where you cannot · on the Tuesday of week 4, a pair, a zone and the time on the board
