MD2.2

Brand System

Level 2 · BootCampMD2 Fast-Turnaround ProductionTaught week 3 Wednesday morning

Start the Lesson

By the end you can turn one mark into rules a stranger can follow: clear space in the mark's own units, a minimum size found by shrinking until it fails, three pictured do-nots with instructions, colours as named jobs with exact hex values read from the tool, type rules as instructions; assemble them as a one-page guide in Inkscape that obeys its own rules, with a brand folder beside it; run a stranger test and turn every guess into a fix; and build the business card and the flyer from the page alone, print-ready to the shop's spec, preflighted on the export.

Start the lesson 69 moves in 11 parts. You need: Inkscape · your MD2.1 mark as it stands, and its final once it exists (text as paths) · a busy photograph of your own, copied from your phone · your brand folder inside the MD folder: logo · do-nots · guide · colours.txt · fonts.txt · collateral · READ-ME · MD1.4's grid numbers · your phone · for the lab, the shop's spec: a phone call, not a guess

Stuck, or want to check your thinking? Paste this card into your own AI and ask it to question you, not answer for you.
