WordPress Site in a Day

Level 2 · BootCampSCS2 Business OnlineTaught week 3 Thursday after lunch

Start the Lesson

By the end WordPress runs on your own scs-server, installed by the kit's script after a named checkpoint, set up with your own administrator name and never admin. The site has four pages for the client, a static front page and a menu; a theme chosen with a written reason and three settings; at most three plugins, each past the five questions; content in the owner's voice, every draft labelled with a receipt; the site package made and the site shown by URL; and a set-up runbook in Git that a stranger could follow, which is the product.

Start the lesson 70 moves in 12 parts. You need: your scs-server from SCS1.5, started in Hyper-V Manager, at its nginx checkpoint or later, with today's address from its console · your server user name and password from the SCS1.5 build sheet · your copy of the SCS2.4 folder, copied down from Mufasa the evening before, and the share's SCS2.4 folder with the WordPress file, the themes folder and the WooCommerce zip · your password manager · your client card from CC1 · your track repo, for the runbook · your notebook
