Git and GitHub
Start the Lesson
By the end your bio page is a repository with a history that says why at every step, pushed to a public repo under your own account with an SSH key whose private half has never left ~/.ssh; you can run the cycle, change, stage, commit, push, and read git status between every move; you can tell the story of a history and explain any one commit in it; you have fixed a mistake with the history and settled a merge conflict on a throwaway repo; and both your repos carry a tested .gitignore and nothing that never goes in.

What You Turn In

- You can explain every commit to a partner or a trainer
- Track repo URL
- Your SCS1.2 cheat card, SCS1.3 extension list and method-notes/SCS1.4.md committed and pushed, each with a why

- Every NOT YET fixed or explained to the trainer; a .gitignore in both repos; nothing secret in either history
- Practice repo drills
- Undo and conflict done on the practice repo, never on the bio page
