The Advanced Track is Level 3, for Lions who have finished Mobile LEAP and BootCamp and want to refine their freelancing or enter the talent pools of partner organisations. It is the smallest level in material and the largest in independence: guided work rather than a taught course.
Who It Is For
A Lion who has completed Mobile LEAP and BootCamp, has not done the Advanced Track before, and submits an updated Career Map, portfolio and CV. The track asks for a strong work ethic, good communication and a commitment to freelancing. A BootCamp graduate's capstone, packaged offer and pitch are the evidence.
What It Is
The track has six parts. The details will be filled in as the track is built.
- Freelancing development. Effective freelancing, contracts, and the legal side of freelance work.
- Soft skills. Open courses on workplace communication, personal branding, team diversity, career mentoring, leadership and sales basics.
- Milestone marches. Specialisation is individual, or cohort-based for a partner organisation. The work is mostly self-led, and a missed milestone can end the place.
- Mentorship and support. Guidance from industry professionals where available, continuing learning resources, and personal support.
- Partner organisations. Some tracks are designed with partners and bring real projects, certification and networking.
- Tracks. A talent pool and apprenticeships; self-directed work in graphic design, front-end or back-end development, system administration, motion graphics or digital media; or a custom path agreed with the Lion.
The track runs six to twelve months, depending on the specialisation.
From BootCamp into the Market
BootCamp ends with each trainee's packaged offer, a portfolio and a pitch in front of a panel. The Advanced Track is where that offer meets the market: the first paid gigs through the platform desk, a client of the Lion's own, or a place with a partner. The habits carry straight over: the client method, the label on every piece of work and its receipts, pricing from a verified rates sheet, and the report that renews a client.
Guided by the Career Map
Across the Advanced Track the Career Map is the guide: who I am, my evidence, my direction, my CV and finding work. The Lion keeps it current. It is the first thing a partner or a client sees, and it records the milestones. Asha keeps the tasks and badges from BootCamp, so a Lion arrives with a record, not a blank page.
What Is on The Hub
Honestly, little. The Advanced Track has no session material in the hub yet; its level page points to the Career Map, and material will be added here as it is written. Two things from the first two levels still serve a Lion on the track: the BootCamp coach prompts for the Business and Entrepreneurship and Capstone Core modules, which hold the client method, pricing and the report that renews, and the study coach prompt, which works with any take-home card.
What Is Still Open
- The Level 3 specialisations for the two BootCamp tracks: not settled yet.
- An owner for the rates sheet that every offer and price stands on.
- Whether the Advanced Track gets session kits of its own, or stays a guided, milestone-based track with the Career Map as its spine.
