The Plan

Where the programme is going and how the pieces fit: the hub, the Career Map, Asha, AI on the learner's own account, coaches per module and evaluation.

Updated 24 October 2026

Learning Lions is building one learning system around its three levels: how the pieces fit, what is decided and live, and what is still proposed.

Three Parts

The Career MapWho I am, my evidence, my direction, my CV, finding workdarasa.learninglions.org/career-map/
AshaThe learner's record: tasks, badges, the growing profileasha.io

The Hub: The Library and the Place to Hand Work In

Decided and built: a static site, one page per session for all three levels, with the take-home card, worksheets, presentation and any video. Reading needs no account; a Google sign-in opens the staff sections to those given a role. Learner pages never show staff files.

Every session page has a live submit form; until the curriculum points at it, the materials say "submit in Asha", kept short so it can become "hand in on the hub" later.

The Career Map: The Guide

The Career Map carries a Lion through all three levels. Coaches' observations are consolidated into it at the close of each Mobile LEAP exploration, and an applicant for the next level updates it. It is on its own site; whether it moves to a learninglions.org address is not settled yet.

Asha: The Record

Asha holds the learner's tasks, badges and growing profile. In BootCamp the unit of assessed work is a Task, a native Asha type. The hub does not yet write into Asha; that needs Asha's API and a sandbox team. Until then the Submissions page's CSV is the bridge, one row per submission, shaped as an Asha import.

AI on the Learner's Own Account

Decided: the hub holds prompts, not an AI. Gemini comes with every Learning Lions Google account through Workspace for Nonprofits, so it is the default route, and Mobile LEAP is moving to it. ChatGPT, Claude and Grok work too. BootCamp's tools and accounts are being settled with the site and the SAs.

Coaches per Module

A coach prompt exists for every module, written for the learner's own AI and carrying the programme's rules: attempt first; AI as tutor or coworker, never author; local truth checked; labels and receipts; nothing private into a tool. The learner pastes the module's prompt, then the session's take-home card. The prompts are drafts for review; a session can point to "the module's coach on the hub" without naming the AI.

Evaluation: Pool and Team

Decided. A Mobile LEAP submission is drawn at random to one evaluator in the pool; if the pool is empty it waits unassigned, where captains and admins see it. A BootCamp submission goes to the whole trainer team's queue. The evaluator opens the link, writes feedback and presses Done; the row keeps who evaluated it and when.

Proposed, for later: random pools per BootCamp track (SCS, MD and Shared), an AI evaluator, and trainee pairs.

Roles

Decided. Mobile LEAP's words are Cohort Captain, Guide, Coach and Evaluator; BootCamp's are Trainer, the Studio, the Desk and the System Admins; an admin gives roles per person. Who is who.

What Is Live Now

  1. The hub, with a page for every Mobile LEAP and BootCamp session, the coach prompts and the submit form.
  2. Sign-in, the Admin page and roles; the Crew, Studio, Desk and Evaluation sections; the Submissions page with its CSV.
  3. BootCamp running with its first cohort.

What Is Next

  1. The hub at darasa.learninglions.org once the SAs add the DNS record, and the first materials pass exported so files open on the hub itself.
  2. The submit form becoming the line the curriculum points at, then the bridge into Asha.
  3. Review of the coach prompts, and the AI account route for BootCamp.
  4. The Advanced Track's material.
  5. The BootCamp items still proposed: the size of the capstone cut, the three business sessions, the shape of MD5, and the ninth week.
